Meditative Calm
Autumn in Tibet feels especially cosy. After 15 October, the number of Chinese tourists noticeably decreases, while autumn colours are at their brightest. The weather is ideal: no summer heat, mornings and evenings are pleasantly cool (+10°C), daytime up to +20°C. No rainfall, no wind, and excellent visibility.
In December, mountain trails are quieter, with even fewer tourists, but more and more pilgrims in their colourful traditional dress. Walks here turn into almost meditative journeys through the silence of the highlands.
